TABLE DESIGN PROJECT(2005)

The brief was simple; to design and build a table based on whatever parameters we chose. The build could either be a scale
model or fully working prototype. I therefore envisioned a complete system, because a table is more than just a functional surface;
seating and lighting make it a complete experience. This train of thought informed the concept, as did the idea of designing a system
that would work in confined spaces. A Japanese-inspired low-set proportion was chosen to reduce visual clutter with a clean
Nordic-inspired balance of materials.
